Ok, we all know she explores everything but this is maybe too much. Being serious (somehow) now, how can the production directors approve even this at the concept stage from the product designers? The (phalic) “thing” is selling on Amazon and every online (and offline) store that sells Dora stuff, which means everywhere.

What’s next? Noddy starts harassing people on the streets? Oh wait, that already happened…

1st Summer video - around Evian

Just another weekend at lake Leman. With my sister this time. Wind was basically absent this time so lots of swimming (and sunburns). She also finished her “pimp my boat” operation with white (faux) leather all over the place, getting rid of the orange overdose.

Older, bigger, but still sleeps in a fruit bowl…

Yep, my cat (Shift) is one year old now, a lot bigger but… despite all sofas, bean bag, his cat tree, my bed, whatever… the glass fruit bowl is still his bed. This started around October last year and despite the fact that he doesn’t basically fit there anymore, fruit still gets banished systematically and that’s his cold and hard and probably not comfortable (that’s for pussies) bed.

Summer! Finally!

At last. Seems like we jumped directly from a crappy “feels-like-Winter” Spring season to real Summer. But Friday it was really hot so I decided to spend the weekend on the lake with my nephew and niece. My sister and brother in law joined us Saturday for lunch and a quick stroll on the lake.

Here’s a few more pictures. Most of them crappy since they were taken with the iPhone.

It was really sunny, no clouds and the water temperature in the middle of the lake was 21°C which ended up inviting me (and my nephew) for a swim. Looking forward for next weekend. And for my face sunburn to look less obvious by Monday.

Carla Voyages: bilhetes d’aviâo para Pascua, Verâo e Natal

Há algumas semanas, sou brindado com um bonito folheto cor-de-laranja fluorescente de uma agência de viagens portuguesa na caixa do correio. Antes de mais, é interessante notar que embora eu tenha a sinalização oficial para não receber “lixo” não solicitado, recebo várias porcarias do género portuguesas, tal como qualquer um que tenha um nome de português na caixa-do-correio. A maioria delas são para créditos pessoais e seguros de saúde, que qualquer dia tão direito a um post também com a quantidade de bacoradas lá escritas (tais como “seguranças de maladia” e “impréstimos para qualqueres valores”).

Deixando isso para um próximo post, vamos analizar apenas o cabeçalho deste: Carla Voyages, oferece-nos bilhetes d’aviâo para Pascua, Verâo e Natal. Não interessa para onde se vai mas sim quando! Devemos louvar o facto de ao menos saberem escrever Natal. Infelizmente não há bilhetes para a Prymavèra ou d’Imvernu…

Por muito que o bonito sol-clipart do logotipo e a cor do panfleto me tenham cativado (e quase cegado), não me arrisco a reservar “vacances” com eles pois tenho imenso medo de tratar de um pacote para as Seychelles e ir parar… ao Seixal. Ou marcar umas férias na Australia e ir parar a… Aljustrel. Enfim, estão a picar-me bastante para fazer um telefonema (e gravar) e “testar” o nível de profissionalismo. Enfim, isto inspira-me mesmo para começar a guardar os panfletos dos “Impréstimos”.

OK, I would love to help Mozilla beat the download record but since yesterday I just have no more patience for server down/busy messages. Anyway, if ALL their servers are busy with people downloading, I am sure they already have the record on their hands (unless they planned less server power than the number they wanted to reach). So, since I don’t want to wait anymore, I just started downloading trough this torrent (for mac) a few seconds ago… OK, it’s almost finished (that was fast) so I am kind of curious. Here I go. If someone gets the windows torrent please post it on the comments. I hope Firefox3 rules (as its predecessors).

Malaguetas: Um dia foste embora

[PT] Mais uma trágica música sobre mais um coitadinho que foi abandonado pela namorada. Desta vez sem MSN nem Powerpoints pelo meio. Um videoclip trágico e comovente sobre o tema de 90% da música popular Portuguesa. Mais uma pérola do Laboratolarilolela que me fez desatar a rir desalmadamente e a ir procurar o video imediatamente. Tomem especialmente atenção ao refrão desta obra do artista “Malaguetas” e castiguem-se a ver este videoclip até ao fim pois o momento “telemóvel voador” e a queda de joelhos perto da mesa das superbocks são algo a não perder.

UPDATE:
Infelizmente, o rapaz, provavelmente com a ajuda do fenómeno Lboratolarilolela, viu que andava a receber visitas a mais no video que colocou (com orgulho?) no Youtube e provvelmente começaram a atirar-lhe coisas nas ruas e… resultado: This video has been removed by the user.

Temos pena…

From now on, clicking on the following icon (which will be also on the blog’s sidebar) will take you to my Flickr photostream, which is plugged directly to my iPhone.

This might be completely random stuff since whatever picture I take in the iPhone is uploaded trough WiFi or Edge automatically. Whatever I think it will be worth a shot. I might explain or even comment it later. Or not. I might use it later on some post here. It can be funny. It can be not funny. It can be whatever.
