Well... I went on the Linux world when it was something new... It was interesting (and challenging) and ended up returning to Windows. Tried again 2 years ago to see how things were going (and they evolved a lot) and had some servers setup as Linux Boxes... back to Windows again. But something tells me I am never back to Windows now. And actually I use the Mac OSX core (which is Unix) for a few terminal / command line things for testing server-side stuff while developing and before putting that stuff into production on the servers. I am quite happy with Apple. At least the production boost resulting in no huge wastes of time in configurations / workarounds / fixing / re-fixing / praying / hiring a vodoo wizard (which for now it's still a reality regarding Windows or any Linux flavour) is quite significant. Last week I was actually telling my boss I should put a reminder in my calendar (oops... iCal) to remind me to restart my machine at least once a month. Funny enough I guess I was even one of those anti-Mac guys, but it took me only using one a few months at my new job to get easily converted.
